2. Duolite®
When you choose Duolite® for your Hunter Douglas Shades, such as Vignette® Modern Roman Shades or Designer Roller Shades, you get double the benefit on a single shade. Duolite® adds an opaque rear liner that can be operated separately from the light-filtering sheer in the front. That gives you the privacy and blackout function you need and the flexible lighting you want.
3. LightLock™
Duette® Honeycomb Shades are among our favorite window treatments for bedrooms, since the energy-efficient cellular structure helps keep your room at a comfortable temperature and quiet enough to promote rest. With LightLock™ they are even better. Innovative micro-ridges on the side channel absorb and deflect incoming light for a complete blackout effect. The stray light that slips around the edges of most blackout shades can be very disruptive for sleep, but LightLock™ has a u-shaped side channel that overlaps with the shades to prevent this.
4. de-Light™
Blinds are notorious for providing privacy but insufficient light control. Hunter Douglas blinds, however, are available with de-Light™, which eliminates cord route holes and other sources of light leakage to provide a superior blackout effect. de-Light™ is available on all Hunter Douglas blinds, including Parkland® Wood Blinds, EverWood® Alternative Wood Blinds, and Modern Precious Metals® Aluminum Blinds.
